The End of the Rainbow

rainbow

An unseasonably warm day in February this week
started with bright sunshine,
drenched us in refreshing rain showers,
and ended with the brightest, most colorful rainbow.

Right in our very own back yard.

If you cannot find me,
look deep in the woods
amidst the moss and twigs and fallen leaves.
I’m searching for the pot of gold,
dancing and celebrating with the leprechauns.

It is the Season of Magic.

Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi

  1. I’m not sure which I love more, the photo or the verse! Both are standout lovely to me! And something that came to me in the middle of the night (because the best things always do)….why not sell prints of your photographs in your shop too? Would be a whole new dimension you could add and my goodness, your images are stunning! Happy Friday, my friend!

    • It was the brightest rainbow have ever seen in my life. I stood there stunned without my camera, and my husband had to remind me to go get it! It didn’t last very long and was even beginning to fade as I got the picture. It literally looked like it ended in our backyard woods. I’ve really never ever seen anything like it. 🙂
