Love your colors, Jodi, and I always enjoy your landscapes in my reader. How are you liking the paper? I think we’re supposed to have 70s soonish! Hopefully you will be too. Happy Thursday!

The nice thing about Blick is you have a one year return policy! I’ll be curious how this moves along for you!

I don’t think I want to return it. I think I just need to be more thoughtful about choosing paper for particular projects 🙂

It’s so nice to have the option, though, which I’ve not seen from any other art supply vendor, once something has been opened. Roll on, McDuff! I’m enjoying watching your progress!

This is just lovely, Jodi! I love the mountains in the background and the foreground with the winter plants. Beautiful! I finally put some of my drawings on my blog (sidebar). If you get a chance, give them a peek. My favorite drawing, which was in color, I had to delete off because it had my name written on it.

I love how the tones of the image are joined with the tones of the language! I can feel a type of melancholy as I read the poem and see the image out of the corner of my eye. It’s really powerful. Thank you for the work you do! So happy to NOW be following you 🙂 With Gratitude and Joy, Zach from StrengthsLife.com

Woohoo my Hero Teacher! That is exactly what I was working on with this simple landscape – back – mid- and foregrounds – YAY – I did it! And a sky that is getting complimented – wowza! Skies are a challenge for me. And guess what came today – all the way from Australia…….??? My Rekab Squirrel #2 – I almost hugged the mailman! He laughed that I had to get a watercolor brush from the other side of the world….. It is so lovely! I can’t wait to play with it. 🙂

that is GREAT News, it arrived!! whew! it will hold A LOT of fluid, just flick it…to shake it off. hmm…towel down though. You will love this brush, as you get the hang of it. No, no ‘hero me, just a scout, or ‘pathway pointer! well, don’t call me P.P. – it doesn’t have a very nice ring to it. you laughing? Stop That!! 🙂 just go play with your new brush! lol

Love the purples. And the yellow gives just the right contrast. I like this watercolor a lot — I’d definitely move in for a closer look if I saw it at an art fair.

That is a gorgeous landscape. And now that I’m in NC it seems like no truer words were written! Sunny here, then snow. We did see bears last night on the dog walk. So the winter nap is over and Spring is coming. Bears are better than groundhogs at predicting springtime. 🙂
