    • They are so pretty when you get up close and personal instead of looking from afar at how they disrupt the green theme of the whole yard. Kinda like people once we get to know them and quit judging based on how they don’t fit into the rest. 😉

      • Boy, amen to that! And I find that the ones who really stand out in the crowd are the ones I wanna get to know the MOST! I think Kerfe made a great comment as well! Thanks for the reminder, and have a great Mother’s Day weekend! And trip!

  1. I feel the same way, Jodi. Why did weeds get named as weeds anyways? Some are stunningly beautiful! One of the posts linked to this one I see you laying on the grass. LOL You look exactly like me. Too funny! And with either a dog or cat by your feet. Yep. Me too! 🙂 ❤

  3. A yard filled with Dandelions is quite beautiful yet I know most people see them as weeds and mow as soon as they see them. Too bad because even when they go to see they are still quite beautiful. Just have to switch your thoughts. Nice post!!

  5. That quote is true to some extent. It’s easier to seem them as flowers/plants when not in a yard, even when they can be beautiful up close. There are some beautiful invasive species, but they’re still invasive. 😦
