Tiny Glow
Your yellow is
bright and glowing
like sunshine and moonbeams.
Yet also
soft and buttery
like feathers and thick, creamy Chardonnay.
Your “Tiny Glow” is like the love
felt and expressed
in this beautiful gift
from a son to a mother.
Bright and glowing,
soft and buttery.
All in one,
and one to another.
Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi
Beautiful flower, wonderful gift, sunshine to begin the day! (K)

It really melted my heart when my son told me he was looking for a special one and picked this – and when he gave it to me – it hadn’t bloomed yet. he wanted me to have one that would bloom for me and last longer. It’s sooo the little things – eh? π

hehe! My girl sent me a dozen roses this year……bowled me over! Some of them are still doing great! Flowers from our kids are the best flowers of all. Really loved your post this morning. β€

Thanks. I think it was his words when he gave them to me that meant so much. The way he briefly described picking them It was the briefest of conversations but I’ll bet he has no idea how much that meant to me. Only a momma can know. But them he is going to be a daddy soon. Oh how he will then really understand. π. How sweet of your daughter. You are blessed π

It is the words, I agree! She usually sends only a card with a beautiful handwritten note. It’s the best part of every holiday for me. Love your story, especially coming from a son, makes it even more special. And yay for fatherhood, motherhood & grandmotherhood! π

Not crazy at all! I totally feel that way too! Our children are such a gift. Even as grown adults. I just love them more and more and am more thankful that they want to be in my life. I have a rocky family past that I don’t mention here so I am so grateful. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
