Thanks Judith – I started out after watching a tutorial to try to do one very exactly like a blue heron – and then my creative side, just said – heck – I can take a picture if I want exact – make it Jodi’y – LOL! Hence the purple feathers 🙂

I like that way of thinking. I’m not a fan of “hyper-realistic” art. It’s more fun to see the world from a creative point of view, purple feathers and all!

Thanks Loo! As I mentioned to Judith – it started with a tutorial on how to paint animals “exactly” – what was I thinking?!??! – that is not me…… haha! after I couldn’t take it any more – I started Jodi’ying it up – and Mr. Blue Heron got purple feathers! LOL!
