Wow!!! Stunning, beautiful, it has a gorgeous joie de vivre glow …and it looks juicy! Love your verse, adore “Be like a pineapple!”…Thank you for a wonderful post!
What a beautiful post! This is Jodi all the way, right here! Challenging subject too, and love your interpretation!!! Any tips to share? Mentors need help too, ya know. πππ¨πβ€οΈ Seriously, this is beautifully done. I think a whole series of these would make a lovely collection of kitchen art. And you are just the nistasista to do it!!
I was really happy with this one loo! I loved doing it. Tried to be really loose and remember to Leave white. I had been wanting to do a pineapple for a while and felt intimidated. Then I just went for it.
Your pineapple just took my breath away and made me smile! Absolute beauty.
But, I did think … we don’t want to be TOO much like a pineapple … with that thick and gristle-y core in the center. We need to bring let sweetness reach to our very center!
great advice and beautiful painting. But I am afraid someone will come and eat us, when we are so sweet inside, the outside protection being of no avail…
I always think of a pineapple as a symbol of hospitality and love your thoughts as well. I love your colorful painting and want to be a pineapple! π
I don’t know how I missed this one! WOWZA! Your pineapple is AMAZING, Jodi! Love how you painted the texture on it. And I loved your wisdom in your verse too! π

Yes, it would be so nice to be like a pineapple! (Especially one as pretty as the one you painted). These days, I feel a bit more like a prune…
