We are relaxing today after a fun-filled weekend

There was also music

on a gorgeous Saturday.

And when the sun set

the bonfires lit and the sparklers twinkled

while fireworks glowed and banged and shined.

And then since one day was just not enough…

there were bloody marys and screwdrivers with the next morning’s coffee

and a shared breakfast of pancakes with blueberries and chocolate chips

and scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage.

The Lake Park Bash was a real holiday treat!  Thanks to all that made it so sweet!

    • Oh Terry – you would have had so much fun! We always have fun with this gang. These cousins are very special family to me for many reasons, and their friends have become our friends and family. It is just the best! 🙂 glad you enjoyed.

  7. What a great party for the 4th, Jodi!! And great photos! Looks like you had a fun time with huge amounts of food. Is this a yearly thing? Family and friends? Someone did a great job organizing it.

    • It is the second annual, so the second in what looks to be a yearly celebration of amazing family and friends and fun. The families all work hard and play hard too! That’s what is most fun 🙂

    • That is my cousin Joyce’s greenhouse, and it became the “bar” for the celebration with a margarita station, mixed drinks, pop, water, and wine all in various spots. They had the greenhouse built by the Amish from windows they replaced in their home. It is magical! 🙂 I’m glad you enjoyed.
