Acquiescent acceptance
Sometimes distancing ourselves
to ultimately save ourselves
Healing comes in waves
Crashing, splashing, breaking
Sometimes hitting the rocks
Other times reflecting the light
Remembering to pause
Remembering to cherish
Time spent reflecting
Time spent sharing
