I wandered
and I wondered
surrounded by the intricate
delicate
complex
beauty of nature.
Did “the queen”
strive to achieve her beauty…
or did she just
allow it to happen?
Did she recognize her beauty
in the complexity…
Or did it
even matter?
Was she
a weed…
Or was she
a beautiful flower?
Is it a
beautiful question…
Or is it
a beautiful answer?
Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi
Gorgeous photo! And, a lovely poem question!

Oh, I’m so glad that you are enjoying it, Jodi! Thanks for letting me know. Big Magic brought me to tears several times. Happy tears! I was fortunate to find copies of both the audio book and the book at my library last week. What a treat it is to listen to the author read to me while flagging my favorite quotes in the book! She is definitely speaking to our creative hearts! ♡

Absolutely – I love listening to her read it!!! I’ve been listening to about 1/2 hour a morning as I exercise on the eliptical or treadmill at the gym – sometimes my only free time and the only time I’m moving during the day as these past days have been quite busy with work! thanks for the beautiful gift you gave me in recommending it!

Indeed! I am listening to a book on “Audible” through Amazon that was recommended to me that is so creatively empowering called Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert (author of Eat, Pray, Love). I wonder if you would enjoy or if you’ve heard of or read. I’m only about 1/2 way through and listening about a half hour a day on the treadmill in the morning :), but WOW!

thats a great book!I’ve heard of it; I’d reviewed it when at the library….just before my visitors. did Laura send you the Ann Blockley wc book info? Ann and her dad John Blockley have 20+ wc books out that are well worth reading, studying. anyway…. Jodi, once again, well Done on that Photo! 🙂 🙂

Yes – Oh – I haven’t had time to read yet, but I did get one of Ann’s books on my Kindle. I was so anxious to get, I downloaded, and I have not looked at yet – Sheesh! I really should get it in hardback so I can peruse. I just may! 🙂
