Thick, heavy clouds part briefly
revealing glimpses of glimmering gold
and twinkling sapphire skies
above the emerald carpeted lawn
sprinkled with the first fallen leaves
that will soon crunch beneath our feet
as we walk the familiar lane…
on a sweet September sunset.
Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi

I think it was Robert Frost’s poem that came to mind when I saw your picture. “A poem I shall never see, as lovely as a tree.” 🙂

So fun to look forward to reading poetry! me! lol and it is always yours! You should have been where I was today, finally the leaves are turning on the North Yuba and the lighting was equisetic! I bet you could easily sit there on the river’s edge and write so many poems, creativity flowing right into your veins. 🙂

It might take me a few days to get it up, I am dealing with carpal tunnel in my right hand and it was giving me trouble today 😦 darn! All I could think is….got to paint….gotta paint! I think that I am an addict. lol

hehe. …now I have the gumption and determination to learn to use my left hand! lol if Frank Frazetta can do it, so can I! It isn’t as bad as it could get, just giving me a scare. No worries, I am not disabled yet though I think it has been a harsh reminder to stretch my hands. 😉
