Your painting made me smile. Here in Toronto the first day in October is cold, windy and pouring with rain. I was hoping to go to an outdoor ‘cultural’ exhibition in the neighbourhood but I don’t relish standing outside for hours in this weather. Hopefully it will clear up somewhat in the next couple of hours.

Also I just wanted to give you a head’s up: for some reason, I’m no longer getting notifications in my emails of your new blog posts even though I’m still following you and still have the settings for daily notifications. So, I’m going to unfollow you and then follow you again and see if that fixes the problem. I don’t know what is going on with WordPress! But I do wish it would stop.

And I’m still not sure it worked, because I didn’t get the usual “confirmed subscription” email I get when I follow a new blog! WordPress will be the death of me yet…. And whenever I don’t hear from a regular reader for a while, I wonder if the same thing has happened to my blog in their reader!

Aside from breaking a finger, I had a great time crabbing and fishing! We caught 11 keeper Dungeness crab. No salmon this trip but hubby did catch one last trip. 🙂 p.s. stupid boat launch accident.
