- A rare Sunday morning when hubby woke up before me and brought me coffee in bed.
- My granddaughter nestling in and napping in my arms after finishing her bottle.
- Sunday family dinner eaten in the living room while watching football and carrying on three different conversations.
- Shower planning for my future daughter-in-law with her mom and sister and chatting for more hours than planning.
- An air kiss blown in the middle of the night when hubby rolled over.
- The smell of Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue sprayed on even on work-from-home days because it makes me feel happy.
- The soft, fluffy feel and smell of Charlie’s fur after a much-needed bath.
- The way my seat on the coach fits just right when I curly my legs up and lean left.
- Stepping on frozen puddles on gravel roads and creating mesmerizing abstract designs.
You see, when life throws curve balls, like it always does, it helps to consider those lovely simple, favorite things, that make life special.
Cherish the moments.
Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi
This is a great list Jodi!! You are so right about how thinking about lovely things can help when life throws your curve balls! You go girl!! ❤
And I know exactly what you mean about curling up your legs on the couch. That is one of the nice things about being short 🙂

Great post, Jodi! We sometimes take for granted all the little things that make us smile during the course of the day and night. But those smiles are our lives, made up of special moments. This will help me to be more cognizant of those small but happy times😊
Thank you for the reminder.

Thanks George. I have to remind myself often when things are going the wrong direction in so many areas. Loved ones sick, hospitalized, deaths, etc. there is still much good we need to focus on. 😉👍❤

What an amazing photograph. At first I thought it was an aerial of a gold-digging operation, LOL. Yes, we have to enjoy the small enjoyable things in life, too.

Life through me one of those curve balls yesterday… my foot cramped up and I could barely walk. Looks like I’m going to have to schedule surgery. 😉 I can’t keep putting it off! I enjoyed reading your simple pleasures in your life, Jodi! ❤💕 Bear hugs to you! 🐻

How fun to know! I just got my first bottle for Christmas this year – and I ADORE it! Smelled it on a friend and told her how much I loved it – who told my daughter-in-law – who bought it for me. Is that the sweetest? ❤

Very sweet-
It took a long process for me to choose it. I don’t spend money on myself often and I wanted a fragrance I could live with. It seems to smell different on each of us
