Wonderful photo, Jodi! Such wise words! Walks in nature, time in the garden, and hours in my little studio are my favorite ways to unplug. I’m sure you find peace in your Creation Station, too! Did you have a chance to see Kristina Werner letter this quote on YT? So lovely! ♡
My ISP has decided to unplug me every morning for the past few days. I have to take the battery out of the modem then put it back in to get it to connect back up. I hope you get lots of painting and relaxing into your unplugged time today!
After watching hours of news feeds on YouTube this morning I needed to unplug and go for a walk. Despite the bitter cold I managed to take some interesting photos and clear my head of all the negative news stories.
It did but today I had to go to the doctor’s because I have an ear infection. Not sure if it’s related to the cold outside or the cold virus that’s been going around but the doc said it wasn’t a virus.
Now that is the truth! When I’m feeling very stressed, I find the best thing for me to do is sit down with a good book, even if just for twenty minutes or so. “Unplugging” from whatever is worrying me helps so much.
These are REALLY words to live by!

I wish I could. There’s always someone, some student, some business, some friend. There’s text messages and emails, and Whatsapp and I’m tired

Yes. But even a 15 min walk outside helps. Most anything can wait 15 min. 😉
