Spring Surprises Popping Up.
Is anything more beautiful
that the bright pops of purple and yellow
that come in the Spring to brighten the brown and gray
and highlight the fresh new green?
Especially in unexpected places
on unexpected adventures
with people you love
on Sunday “rides.”
Spring is popping up.
Smell the air.
Listen to the sounds.
Look for the beauty!
Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi
This is so beautiful Jodi!

Spring bulbs and squirrels! They make the spring flowers so exciting because you know that they will be flowering in places you never thought of… but the squirrels did! Plant a dozen tulips in a confined area, and probably only 7 or 8 will grow there because the other 2 or 3 will have been transplanted elsewhere. Such are the joys of Spring! 🙂

Correction (it’s early!) – “the other 4 or 5 will have been transplanted” ! 🙂

Crocuses! Beautiful photo! I love your poem too. I love it when spring begins to pop through the ground and pop out the leaves on trees and bushes!

Do you have crocuses in your part of the country PJ?

Yes, we do and they are usually the first flowers to come up in early spring.

Yes they are so lovely! Mom gave me the bulbs and each year they come up. This year there was tons of snow and they still came up!
