A Mouse Named Klaus

There once was a mouse named Klaus
who lived in a teeny, tiny house.

Claudia was his spouse.
She wore a teeny, tiny blouse.

His best friend was a grouse,
which is a bit strange for a mouse.

But they didn’t allow that to louse
the best friendship ever between a grouse and a mouse.

Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi

This is one of a series of fun animal watercolor paintings and rhymes I am pursuing.

  1. Good Morning, Jodi! Benjamin and Gem are enjoying Klaus the mouse and his sweet rhyme. Benjamin said that his Mommy doesn’t like a mouse, but he does! I don’t like them as visitors in my house either, does anyone? However, you do make a mouse look cute – as long as he stays outdoors! Thank-you for this delightful series, so much fun. I appreciate the “see the others” list, makes the revisiting with Benjamin much easier to navigate!

  2. Your art work is so unique, I love it. If I could paint like that I would do it on card fronts being that is what I do – make greeting cards.
