Chilling White Wine

Frozen Grapes in Pinot Grigio

Frozen Grapes in Pinot Grigio

Chilling White Wine.

I recently learned about this great tip for keeping your white wine chilled without watering it down.

Freeze a bag of grapes, and use them as “ice cubes.”

At the end of your drink, you have a wonderful treat of wine soaked grapes to enjoy!  And your wine stays full flavored to the very end.

I am definitely more of a red wine girl, but I sometimes enjoy a light Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc or a crisp, buttery Chardonnay in the summer.

Dropping in a few frozen grapes makes it even more of a treat.

Enjoy!

Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi

  1. Very clever and it adds splendid eye appeal to that glass of wine too! I think I will try it in Prosecco, a recent addition introduced by my youngest daughter. Thank-you!!

  2. We drink a lot of Sauvignon Blanc in the summer when it’s hot outside. Your grape idea is great and colorful too! 🍷💕 We use a “wine bra” to keep the bottle cold. I think I got it on Amazon years ago. We keep it in the freezer and it fits over the bottle like a bra – works great! 😉

  3. What a great idea! I like white wine, but I like it cold. Sometimes I do add an ice cube when it begins to get too warm, but then I end up with watery wine that doesn’t taste as good. I’m going to try the frozen grapes!
