Chilling White Wine.
I recently learned about this great tip for keeping your white wine chilled without watering it down.
Freeze a bag of grapes, and use them as “ice cubes.”
At the end of your drink, you have a wonderful treat of wine soaked grapes to enjoy! And your wine stays full flavored to the very end.
I am definitely more of a red wine girl, but I sometimes enjoy a light Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc or a crisp, buttery Chardonnay in the summer.
Dropping in a few frozen grapes makes it even more of a treat.
Enjoy!
Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi
What a great idea! My favorite is white Zinfandel with lots of ice but I’ll try the grapes. I like red wine but it doesn’t like me, gives me headaches. Happy wine sipping on the deck! 😀

Very clever and it adds splendid eye appeal to that glass of wine too! I think I will try it in Prosecco, a recent addition introduced by my youngest daughter. Thank-you!!

We drink a lot of Sauvignon Blanc in the summer when it’s hot outside. Your grape idea is great and colorful too! 🍷💕 We use a “wine bra” to keep the bottle cold. I think I got it on Amazon years ago. We keep it in the freezer and it fits over the bottle like a bra – works great! 😉

What a great idea! I like white wine, but I like it cold. Sometimes I do add an ice cube when it begins to get too warm, but then I end up with watery wine that doesn’t taste as good. I’m going to try the frozen grapes!

Have tried it, the wine was nicely cool, but the cherries didnt take any of the wine. Just tasted cool…

I used grapes instead of cherries 🙂

this is a great idea! I never knew you could do that. Do you have a favorite type of grape to do this with? like a wine grape vs. a table grape?

Hi Stuart – I just used seedless red grapes – and they were wonderful!

I’m a red wine girl too, but next time I have friends over, I’ll add the frozen grapes to the white wine. It looks pretty. Thanks!
