Hedy the Hedgehog

A sweet little hedgehog named Hedy
never wanted to go to beddy.

So when her Mom told her it was time to get ready,
she would ask for a piece of bready.

Some jam she would ask to be spready
to keep her belly all fedy.

When full, she would hug her Teddy
and into bed she would getty.

Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi

  1. Benjamin is going to go Hedy over heels on Monday!! To point out the obvious here – Hedy is beyond adorable! I have been enthralled with World Watercolor Month, and I continually amazed at the process that an artist (yourself Jodi) utilizes to create the finished painting. There are multitudes of techniques, colors, brushes, and paper that are involved which can yield anything the artist can imagine or dream. Once again, you have transferred your vision to reality through watercolor – bravo, well done! The poem is a delightful bonus! Thank-you!

  2. Love the hedgehog! (We had a dog at the humane society once who looked remarkably like a hedgehog. If I can find the picture I took, I’ll email it to you.)
I think your animals would make a wonderful alphabet book!
