To Notice the Last Glow of Light.
To feel the softness,
and experience the gentle breeze,
to notice the last glow of light shining through…
Even amidst the things that choked you,
the experiences that broke you,
the storms that turned your world upside down…
These are the blessings of life,
that give us the strength,
and give us grace…
To be courageous,
and brave,
to persevere and to grow….
Into the confident beauty
we were meant to be
and share with the world.
Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi

What a beautiful poem Jodi! Thank you for sharing it with us. It very much pertains to my life right now as I am going through some difficult things but last night I got a glimpse of our Oklahoma sunset and was in complete and total awe.It is amazing how we can still experience such beauty in the midst of our difficulties. There is nothing more beautiful to behold than an early morning sunrise or the fading light of day. It makes the stresses and problems seem insignificant for just a few moments, if one takes the time to see what is freely given. Thank-you for this lovely post and photo.

Wow, Jodi, this was so powerful! And also an inspiration to everyone who struggles. It’s easy to have hope when life is going well, but much harder when times are hard and we don’t know if they will every get better. Thanks for reminding all of us that they do….
