Angel Wings in Watercolor 11-11

Today is November 11th.   11-11.

There are those that believe the meaning of 11-11 (or 11:11) is a sign that angelic beings are close by.  They come with love and protection, and they want to bring you clarity and guidance.

Not sure if I believe in angels being especially near at 11:11 or that making a wish will come true, but it is a pretty awesome number….. 1111…

and a fun opportunity to paint angel wings with glittery numbers and count my many blessings.

  4. Intetesting Jodi. Wonder if thetre is any relationship about what you wrote about angels bring nearby on 1111 and this being Veteran’s Day? Pethaps the angels that come closer on this day are the former veterans who have lost their llives protecting our country who stll are finding ways (although no longer her physically) to continue to protect us thru their spirit.
    It’s early and my creative mind is flowing a bit. I know you have been painting alot of old fsshioned Christmas card scenes lately for the upcomming holidays. Perhaps developing a special holiday card that honors our dedicted veterans who have dedicted their lives and have sacrifised so much to protect our our freedom and tying to somehow tie them to be our special angels watching over and protecting us us might be a beautiful and symbolic gesture. People may then want to acquire these special cards and/or prints and to send them out to soldiers currently deployed so far away from their families especially.during the holidays to let them know that we love them, appreciate their sacrifices and that we are thinking them “our special angels” during the Holiday season

    Just a thoight..this being Veterans Day

    Know thus might be too hard to develop for this upcomming season, bit it might something to think about in the future.

      • Thanks Jodi… Sometimes my mind wanders early in the morning and i come up all sorts of ideas. I found the 1111 about the angels intriguimg and then thoight could there be some symbology with Veterans Day being on the same day. You do such great work and truly are creative. Luv Gary

  14. The Angel wings are so very beautiful and a perfect choice to commemorate Veterans Day. As a believer, lover and collector of anything Angels – I love the symbolism and know the 11:11 meaning. I do agree that this would make lovely note cards. Thank-you!

  15. How could only just ‘1111’ be angelic? By stating just these number makes all the other number to go less angelic or devilish.
    God didn’t create the numbering game, humans did.

    It doesn’t make any sense.
