When I look into your eyes

When I look into your eyes,
I see your heart…

and that is where
the beauty is.

It’s deep in your soul.
It’s past the superficial.

When I look into your eyes
nothing else matters.

I wonder what you see
when you look into mine.

Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi

    • Did you ever notice how people’s eyes get more beautiful as they age and their bodies become less attractive? Or is it just me that thinks that. Eyes are the mirrors of the soul. I have always been an “eye contact” person. 🙂 Glad you made it safe. Hope you enjoy your time. xo

      • You would like my husband’s oldest friend – when you make a toast with him (as I am sure you will be with your loved ones tomorrow) he insists that you look him in the eye as you touch glasses and until you have taken the first sip. It is a wonderful habit that we have adopted and now raising a glass any other way seems somehow less connected and meaningful. 🥂

  1. I can not imagine seeing anything in your eyes but the sweetness of your very soul. You are the personification of beauty, both inside and out. You are the very person that many would like to be…kindness of heart and fairness of mind shown to all that come into your orbit.. We should all want to become Jodi’s when we grow up! Thank-you for this lovely post!
