A Hymn of Grateful Praise.

For the beauty of the earth…
For the glory of the skies.

For the beauty of each hour…
Of the day and of the night.

For the joy of human love…
A hymn of grateful praise.

Sometimes there are just no better words
than those of classic hymns.

On this Thanksgiving Day,
I am grateful for all of this and more.

      • They were published in the 1980s, but they were good. James Herriott (and I’m probably not spelling his last name correctly) wrote about his life as a vet in the Yorkshire part of England in the late 1940s and on. His first book was named: All Creatures Great and Small. I do think you would enjoy his work, so if you have time, look him up!
