Getting Ready for Christmas in Mars

Getting Ready for Christmas in Mars.

Where else can you find a 40 foot Christmas tree
ready for lights and balls and tinsel and a star…

next to a spaceship and across from Mars Bank
in town square?

There’s no place like home
in Mars, PA…

where celebrating Christmas
is “out of this world!”

Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi

  1. Such fun! We have no spaceships but we do have divine little alpine huts getting ready for the Christmas Market which will run from Saturday until Christmas Eve in various squares across the city. And trees. Lots of trees. But now I want a flying saucer (how do I construct my email to the Mayor?!!)

  2. The Christmas Tree in Mars must be almost as big as Rhode Island! I can’t wait to show Benjamin the spaceship on Monday, he will be over the moon. He’ll also want to have one too! Thank-you for an out of this world post! P.S. Love the family photo…so nice when both sides of the in-laws can share a holiday!

    • Well – I will have to take a photo when the tree and space ship are all lit up and share too! 🙂 Yes – it is so nice to share the kids with in-laws. Nick and Liz just got married in April, so this was their first married Thanksgiving. ❤

  3. Benjamin says : “My Jodi lives on Mars in that spaceship, amazing!” Gem has not been very successful trying to explain the “in vs.on” concept. His friend, Travis, is the solar system genius at the tender age of about 4 1/2 yrs. old. I think that I will turn this over to the toddler wisdom department for clarification!
