Wisdom from a Snowman

Wisdom from a Snowman.

It’s okay to be a little bottom heavy.
Don’t get too much sun.
Everyone nose carrots are good for you.
Be a jolly happy soul.
It takes a few extra rolls to make a good midsection.
It’s fun to hang out in the front yard.
Remember, we are all a little bit flaky.
White is always appropriate.
Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize!

The Christmas decorations are down, but my snowies stay out until Spring.  It has been so cold here lately, I thought it would be fun to share this wisdom from a snowman/person (aka snowies).

If you are somewhere cold, may you find warmth.
Wishing you comfort and contentment.
Happy Sunday!

Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi

  1. Do you know the film ‘The Snowman’ taken from Raymond Briggs’ beautiful book? It was my eldest daughter’s absolute favourite when she was little and it always made her cry. She has remained devoted to snowmen and is always first out on the rare occasions it snows in London. When she visited at the beginning of December we had lots and lots of snow and she insisted on making a snowie (love that name) in the garden complete with my hat and scarf. Her husband looked on with tender dispair!

    • Haven’t thought about that book or movie in forever. I might just have to watch if I can find it. How sweet that your daughter loves to build snowies and her hubby’s sweetness about it 🙂 ❤

  2. I love your Wisdom from a Snowman! I’m not sure if Sue Hillis is the author… as this was, and may still be, available as one of her beautiful cross stitch kits. I used my revisited 1996 Snowman theme this Christmas and plan to have my multitude of them around through January. The tree with it’s snowman ornaments is being dismantled today, before it disintegrates completely. One of my favorite ornaments is a Hallmark porcelain snowflake with a raised snowman face in the center and tag that reads “Snowmen fall from Heaven unassembled”. Frosty the Snowman was always Kristen’s favorite movie and now it is Benjamin’s too…love to hear him sing the song! Thank-you for the snowies! P.S. Benjamin is 4 years old today!
