What We Would Miss.
If we didn’t go out
to explore
or saunter
or simply to
unwind,
think of
all the
things we
would
miss.
Walking
isn’t always
just about
the exercise
for our body.
It can
also be
a break
for our
mind.
An opportunity
to commune
spiritually
with oneself
and nature.
If I didn’t allow
myself
the gift
to get out
and walk,
this
one
beautiful
moment
in
time…
Look
what
I would
have
missed.
Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi
Picture perfect winter scene. I see a water-coloring of this created by you when you get the chance. Luv Gary

We have many areas like that, but here is a dilemma: The beauty of the solitude in that setting is incredible…. but the solitude is a factor. Should we encourage more people to go out and appreciate the natural environment, and perhaps sacrifice the solitude… or should we keep our secret? Would the setting in that photograph be as inviting with a couple of families also in it? 🙂

Benjamin and I prefer this snowy picture to the downpour of rain that Winter Storm Jaxon delivered here yesterday. While rain is often needed, it is much nicer when it sinks into the ground instead of into my lower level carpets. Your beautiful thoughts take me back to my childhood days and those of my children, the memories of many delightful journeys through the snow. So blessed that they weren’t missed. Thank-you!
