Branching Out

Tree Branches – North Park Lake – March 2018 – Pittsburgh, PA

Branching Out.

You will
never know

how far
you can reach…

how many things
you can do…

how many lives
you can touch…

until you allow yourself
to branch out.

Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi

  1. What a great picture to go with your wonderful poem! Branch out lady! Reminds me of Dr.Seuss’s poem. “You got mountains to climb , get on your way, this is your day! ” Can’t remember all of it exactly, but I think you can figure out what I mean. 🙂 Have a wonderful day!

  3. A maybe not so short story about my own “branching out” from the perspective of a 4 year old. The BenjaGem project – The Buttermilk Pound Cake. My less than stellar attempt can not be blamed on the co-worker, entirely. Going into the oven it looked good, coming out…not so much. It seems that we somehow missed the important ingredient that determines success or failure, the rise or fall, the hopeful beginning and the sad ending. The Baking Soda, this infinitesimal barrier between what is and what might have been. As we surveyed the sight in the bundt pan, Benjamin looked at me sadly and said : Maybe you should not be a baker like Mommy, just be a Gem.” He quite effectively pruned that branch!

  4. Wonderful poem Jodi…I’m branching out this weekend, I’m going tent camping with my daughter and granddaughter. The three of us sleeping in a tent with a dog should bring lots of laughs every night. See you when I return on Sunday,

You seem to have such an inate ability to finding solutions & providing appropriate advice. You are a most gifted person & a treasure to have crossed paths. Ps.
