Good Grief! The quote is from Leonardo da Vinci. My brain was dwelling upon a Dali quote, while my fingers were typing a da Vinci. I’ll dally with Dali another day, I’m sure the occasion will arise!

Love both your comments! Dally with Dali another day, “so gone with the wind!” I have senior moments like this constantly, even when I wasn’t a senior. So its poetic to me, love your recovery & the visual of your words.

It pleases me greatly to make your day, you so often make mine lighter and brighter! The Quote Queen must address : “I never would have known.” First, I knew and it was my duty to correct my error. Second, I would be doing a great injustice to both da Vinci and Dali by not acknowledging their words correctly. Third, and most importantly, I would be horrified to think that you might repeat the quote and someone would humiliate you by saying it is not a Dali! Thank-you! P.S. My senior moments are becoming hours!!

Jodi lovely on both words & watercolor. These flowers are Dancers: balerina, or flamenco, bachata. Love the pink leaves with the pale greens & the dramatic red & purples. Beautiful colors great composition, & a most lovely story.
