Hauling Pumpkins.

I’ve been wanting to paint this for a while.

A year or so ago, I painted a red truck with a Christmas tree, which has been kinda popular around the holidays (and is still available in our McKinneyX2Designs Etsy shop and at Berry Vine Gifts).

People have asked if I could do other holiday/seasonal versions of it.  Since the red truck trend still seems popular, I made a Pumpkin Haulin’ version for Fall.

It was fun to add colors to create the feel of swirling leaves and the colors of Autumn.

We are gearing up for the fun seasons ahead, where my DIL Colleen and I will be participating in a few local shows in addition to our usual Etsy and Berry Vine Gift sales and events.

If you are in the area, look for us at the Lake Latonka Fall Festival on Saturday, September 7th and then the Big Mars Craft Show on Saturday, November 16th.

  11. That area in the store is getting bigger. How fun that must be to see your artwork everywhere. Your pumpkin truck is cute. Now you need to do a cute scarecrow. Good luck at your fair, wish I lived close.

  18. “Namaste, My Jodi! I love the red truck with all the humongous orange pumpkins, it is so awesome! The rails are a great idea, so the pumpkins won’t fall out and get smashed into smithereens. I love that word, smithereens. Gem always tells me that I will fall and smash my brain into smithereens cause I climb on rocks and stuff. That’s so silly! The painting gets two thumbs up and 10 Gold Stars from me. You get lotsa kisses and neckbuster hugs cause you paint the bestest pictures! Thank you and Bye!” Gem loves this watercolor too, I never met a pumpkin that I didn’t love! Thank-you!

    • Benjamin wants me to tell “My Jodi” that kindergarten starts very soon. He is excited! We are having a Gem Sleepover tonight because Mommy is sick, but as Benjamin says : “She will feel betterer soon!” We spent some time painting today as it was raining here, he had so much fun! Thank-you x 2!!
