You incline your head ever so slightly
yet oh so
regally, with courageous and powerful eyes
speaking of
strength,
all the while submitting to
the solitude.

That tiger is giving you quite a look. I hope that fence was high enough!

Oh Albert – I know – scarey – eh? But oh so regal and kind of sad in that cage. You are so lucky to have the wonderful carefree life you do!

Oh Sylvia – that means so much coming from you! I think we should get together for coffee sometime since we are literally so close. 🙂

The poem and picture are good, but what I love most is that verandah – always wanted one! Would love to be sitting there right now …

Thanks Marie – are you referring to my blog cover photo of my front porch? It’s a little snowy right now 🙂

Jodi – yes! I guess you can get the girl out of Jamaica but you can’t get Jamaica out of the girl. We call it verandah there! Your front porch is awesome! I’d love to have one here in England, but I don’t think it would go down well with the neighbours :)))

well that’s a bummer that porches are not liked in London…

It’s not that porches are not liked here. There are porches but not verandah-shaped ones …
