I had this conversation with my second daughter who lives in the Far East yesterday. We were comparing what she calls our tendency to sprinkle glitter and how hard it is when people don’t understand that you might need some glitter too. We asked ourselves if we are willing to harden up. The answer? Of course not … soft all the way. Soft is best 🙂
Jodi, this is perfect for where I am now. I filed for divorce this week and it will be final right after Thanksgiving. I’ve never been this happy in my life and am not bitter at all. Thanks for your lovely thoughts.
Thank you Gary! Several folks have asked for Terry’s number and I gave. Hope he is getting some warm, soft calls from folks who love him (and YOU!) xo ❤
Yes! Sometimes it’s hard not to let the world “harden” us, but that’s not the way I want to live. One way or another, we have to find a way to be soft: loving, giving, caring and joyful!

Awesome! A wise woman recently advised me – “Do not let anyone’s attitude change your principles.”
We need reminders to stay positive. Thanks!
