I had this conversation with my second daughter who lives in the Far East yesterday. We were comparing what she calls our tendency to sprinkle glitter and how hard it is when people don’t understand that you might need some glitter too. We asked ourselves if we are willing to harden up. The answer? Of course not … soft all the way. Soft is best 🙂

Yes! Sometimes it’s hard not to let the world “harden” us, but that’s not the way I want to live. One way or another, we have to find a way to be soft: loving, giving, caring and joyful!
