Welcome to thecreativelifeinbetween.com.
My name is Jodi, and I am from Mars.
Really! I’m not lying…
Mars, Pennsylvania that is.
(We even have a spaceship in our town square, which my girlfriends and I posed at in our jammies during a Girlfriend Camp escapade and asked our local police officer, who happened to be driving by, to snap our picture.)
I love baking…
and crafting…
and decorating – inside and OUT…
and I love photographing every step along the way and every adventure.
I enjoy writing immensely… painting pictures with words… expressing emotions through words… telling stories… sharing my thoughts and my escapades… musing from mars…
By day, I am Executive Assistant to the CEO for a risk mitigation solutions organization where I get to support creating and providing companies with the best decisions on who to hire for their teams. But at life in between – you know – that time when you are not doing what you HAVE to do… I’m a girl… ok woman… OOOKAAYY middle-aged woman ……..
who enjoys my family… a hubby who has been putting up with me for the past 36 years, two amazing grown sons, and two sweet daughters-in-law.
I also have a super sweet and always-hungry furry son and best buddy…
AND… the best friends a girl could ever ask for!
Join me here as I bake yummy treats to make your tummy happy…
create hand-stamped cards to make your heart smile
play amatuer photographer with my fun new DSLR hubby got me for Christmas a couple years ago…
decorate my home so all feel welcome…
write about the crazy thoughts in my head,
and carry on – at the creative life in between.
Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi

Hi Jodi! My name is Eli Braden and I work on a TV show called Food: Fact or Fiction. We’re a documentary-style series on the Cooking Channel that explores the histories of various foods in a fun, light-hearted way.
We’re currently producing a segment on cookie tables – about the how, when and why they became a wedding tradition in the Pittsburgh area. If possible, we’d love to license some of your cookie table photographs for use on our program.
If you’re interested, please let me know at your convenience. You can reach me at EliBraden@hotmail.com or, if you prefer, the phone number below.
Thanks for your time, and have a great weekend!
