Happy Sunday Friends!
I’ve finally accomplished getting a card made this week for the last Paper Players Challenge (PP225) of the year, and it is a Black Tie theme. (Holiday Projects that are Fancy)
I had seen similar cards like this done on Pinterest various ways and thought the clean and simple look with pearls, a classy sheer cream ribbon and a simple glittery string spoke elegance. The sentiment I chose is from StampinUp’s Ornamental Pine Stamp Set.
Now if I could just get some of my Christmas cards in the mail, I’ll be in good shape! It’s on today’s list, but we’ll see what happens…
Enjoy your day.
Cheers & Hugs Dahlink,
Jodi
Very nice….Have a great day…xo

I spent all day Sunday writing cards… and finished late last night! It was fun, sitting near the Christmas tree and listening to Christmas music. Sending lots of happy wishes! ♡

Got most of mine to the post office today, Dawn. A few more to get out, but a large bulk accomplished. I asked the lady at the post office if she could weigh each to see if any needed extra postage. She looked at me funny and asked, “Aren’t they all the same, so I only need to weight one?” I said, “Sorry – nope – every single one is different….” She look at me like I was from outer space! Well – it was the MARS post office! 🙂

That is beautiful and very fitting for “black tie.” I hope you can get them in the mail today so the recipients will enjoy them as much as I do mine. 🙂 Hugs!

No, I am in the kitchen. The Pillsbury Bake-off recipe was not a big hit in my house. Too SWEET.

Then you probably should send it to Marty – nothing is too sweet for him! 🙂

Sweet and very rich! It might be Marty’s new favorite. You should give it a try!! I’d rather have apricot bread actually. I am losing my taste for super sweet things. As Marie Antoinette did not say, Let them eat BREAD!!. YUM.

I’m with you too. I enjoy baking the sweet things and sharing them, but I take savory over sweet almost every time. I do love the joy that sweet treats bring to so many, though, and they are so fun to make 🙂

Jodi, this is so elegant!!! I just LOVE pearls, so this is a stand out to me! I mailed a huge amount of cards the last two days. I had to use extra postage on all of mine. Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players this week! XX
