In the winter months of life,
there comes a balance between hanging on and letting go.
Should we stay or should we go?
Do we get to choose?
What do we have to lose?
My Marty’s 92-year old Aunt lost the second love of her life this week. Her near 93-year old fiance.
Rest in Peace dear Tilford. Thanks for loving Aunt Francie. Thanks for bringing her such joy in the winter years of her life. You will be missed. You were a good man.
Christmas 2007
Hugs,
Jodi

As long as there is time, as long as there is love and as long as we have the breath to speak your name you will be loved and not forgotten.

I’m sorry to hear about the loss of Marty’s Aunt’s fiance. They look like such a sweet couple. I would like to express same sentiments as ramblingsfromamum, RIP Tilford! I hope that Marty’s aunt is taking it okay. You all are in my heart and prayers. (I love the picture of the little bird).

Yes, I agree. Very sweet to have such a late in life romance. Most elderly widows and widowers do not have that special friend in their remaining years.
