If only these walls could talk,
What stories would they tell?
What secrets do they hold?
What challenges have they seen?
What joy did they provide?
What future will they meet?
I was driving through a local park recently and practically slammed on my car brakes when I spied this old structure out of the corner of my eye. I had my camera with me and had to stop and photograph it.
Wishing you moments that stop you in your tracks today!
Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi
This is my submission for this week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge: Walls.

Beautiful shot. Old buildings affect me the same way.
And….you got the first guessed award! Dingdingdingding! Have a great day, Jodi! 🙂

Jodi, Jodi, Jodi! Do I sound like Cary Grant? Never mind… Anyway, I absolutely love this photo!!! One of my all-time favorites of yours. I love the lichen-covered stone and the encroachment of Mother Nature. That little structure is going to stand for many more years to come. There are some bright red berries to the right which are in such stark contrast to the dark stone. Wonderful image, just wonderful. I do understand the stomping on the brakes! I’m always so happy to see these things when I’m on my own in the car and don’t have to plead to BH to “Stop!”

This is a great photo, wow! Can it be researched? This post got that old song about a ghost from a wishing well playing in my head, by Gordon Lightfoot.

Love this! I need to learn to carry my camera around! This almost reminds me of our “mansion” cabin that I had written about before, LOL!
