December Joy!
December just might be
my favorite month
of the entire year.
December is
anticipation
and hospitality.
December is
glowing lights
and homespun ornaments.
December is
warm, crackling fires
and glowing candles.
December is
fleece blankets and hoodies
and flannel sheets and shirts.
December is
hope and dreams
and sweet and indulgent.
December is
traditions and family
and magic and memories.
December is
carols and hymns
and elves and angels.
December is
my favorite month.
December is JOY!

And Hallmark movies. I’d have to add those in. So mindlessly relaxing, knowing there will be a crisis but a resolution will come before the two hours ends. My kind of life. A bump in the road that resolves quickly. Enjoy your month of coziness. I know I shall.

December here is hot and humid with stormy weather. It’s busy and did I say hot? It’s still a great month though, especially as it’s also my birthday month. Enjoy your cold December Jodi, as we swelter through ours over on this side of the world 😊

December is a wonderful month! You go to stores and they are playing Christmas music. You see Christmas everywhere you look and it is a month we realize how grateful we are for our family and friends.

a happy time for most. I know many have sad times too – and I surely have a sad memory of my brother who took his life last year two days after Christmas, but I choose to focus on the joy as much as I can.

It truly is a sad time for many people – those who are alone on Christmas. I am so sorry about your brother. It must be terrible to get to the point of hopelessness – such as my niece got when she took her own life about 4 years ago. It is a very sad time for her mother (my sister). I don’t dress my home up for Christmas anymore. Actually, I put up a tree last year but decided not to this year. I’ll just enjoy all the lights and music at the stores and around town.

Me, too! My two favorite months of the year are May (because it is so darn pretty, with flowers, good weather and very few bugs) and December (because of Christmas!). Not surprised you love it too!
