Summer Sunday Morning Mars PA 2018
Perspective.
Walking back home from my next door neighbor’s
On a warm summer Sunday morning
After wading in a kiddie pool
And sipping pretend coffee
And chasing butterflies
Barefoot in the grass
I paused
And smiled
And gratefully sighed
And put things in
Perspective.
Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi
So very refreshing. Nice to think back to younger years growing up when everything seemed so simple and innocent. Spending time at neighbors and enjoying the morning.

Jodi, this is beautiful. So simply put and such a simple notion but so often overlooked in our ‘hurry’. Some days you are simply my guru! ❤️

Sometime I take my beautiful front yard for granted. Then I stop and look and think. Wow. I am blessed. ☺️💚

Love the perspective of that photo, Jodi.
(I was bemoaning the heat yesterday when a friend texted to say her AC had died…and their temps were ten degrees higher than ours. Another sent news of her 40-year old son’s progress with cancer. Suddenly my perspective shifted, big time!)
Is pretend coffee decaf? If so, that’s the land where I live these days…trying hard to pretend it’s real…

indeed….. and the great thing about pretend (baby pool water) coffee is that it is whatever you want it to be – so yes – yours is decaf – and delicious!!! ❤ 🙂

In this refreshing shelter of deep green on your photo it becomes easy to see things no matter how grave they appear to be in perspective. Great post, Jodi!
