Jodi,
When darkness comes into our lives, we need to not despair and to continue to remind ourselves there is a silver lining out there somewhere for us and we need to be patient and d to continue to remain positive. Good analogy
Wow what an impact! Beautiful photo. We have so much smoke here from all the fires We can’t even find the clouds. Thanks for reminding me of what a blue sky looks like.
I am so sorry to hear of all the smoke in your area! That must be so hard! This blue sky and cloud took my breath away. I was simply lounging on my deck in the baby pool (LOL!) during a sweet “me time” last Sunday afternoon for a glorious hour. When I opened my lazy eyes when the shadow was cast, I grabbed my phone to try to capture the beauty of the moment. The small blessings we can find when we cherish the moments!!
No kidding! Cant believe this was captured on your phone. I missed a cherrished moment yesterday, didnt think to use my phone I was so mesmorized in the moment, I forgot to capture it. We were driving up our mountain road when ahead we spotted a Mother bear & two baby cubs crossing the road. We gave her plenty of space & they took their time crossing (a doddler) so precious & cute, never occurred to me to get a photo, I was too caught up in the moment.
Benjamin was thrilled to spy “My Jodi” tucked into my inbox! He examined the photo and I read the post to him. He was a bit perplexed : “What does My Jodi mean, clouds aren’t pressable?” I explained irrepressible to him and he still had reservations about a silver lining in the clouds. Per Benjamin : “All I see is a humongous ghost, but he is friendly!” He pointed out the dark areas at the top as the eyes, one blue hand on the right and one white hand on the left of his “puffy body behind the blue cloud” towards the bottom. Benjamin is not lacking imagination! Silver linings are all about perspective. Thank-you x 2!!
That is an amazing photo, Jodi! I swear, if you weren’t so nice I think I’d be jealous of you because you are so darned talented. But it impossible to be jealous of someone who is so nice and encouraging, and more importantly, is always sharing her insights and inspirations with the rest of us. Silver lining, indeed!
how perfect

Marvellous photo of an impressive cloud formation! I like clouds. A cloudless sky is bare and boring. Great poem, Jodi!

All clouds have silver linings but sometimes you have to search quite hard to find them… ! A lovely image Jodi – I love sky images.
