Totally agree with this. Too often people speak up too fast before first thinking and making sure they have all the facts and can better understand the consequences for shouting out too quickly. Best advice is to roar quickly only when truly in danger or if you are a Lyon (and that’s what you do because you are the king of the jungle !) Luv Gary.
Jodi, you always have just right combination of words for the day. And, what an amazing portrait of this Lion. I’m letting out a “Roar” for a good day!
I completely agree! Knowing when to roar and when to remain silent is so important, but also so very hard to learn. Still, as long as we’re trying, we’ll get it right at least some of the time.

True words, Jodi. With so many “issues” readily at hand, one must choose battles wisely. Hugs.

This is a lesson I still need to learn. When I should stay quiet, sometimes I go on a verbal rampage. Thanks for the sweet reminder!

Yes Jodi, the silence is always a good option when we aren’t sure what to say. Love the poem!

This reminds me of the quote: “It is better to be silent and be called a fool, than to speak and prove it!”

In this age of social media, many choose to ROAR behind the keyboard without stopping to first think. Nice share. 🙂
