Daylily in Watercolor.

The daylilies are in full boom
this time of year.

Along the edge of the woods.
Along the sides of roads.

Varying shades of oranges
and yellows and pinks and reds.

I have Lily fever!

  12. I have developed a bit of an obsession with day lilies since arriving here. They are so beautiful – the colors divine and they just keep on giving! Your Watercolour and poem do them perfect justice. PS – big congratulations to Lynn on her lovely prize!

  22. Trying to catch up on my mail. So I just opened this day lily. Beautiful work & your yellow canary is adorable too. Lovely colors, I always look but didnt find them mentioned. I won’t ask because who would remember from a month ago. Really lovely Jodi. You are so very talented.
