The showers beat down,
the wind blows strong.
We drip and wilt –
all tousled about.
But afterwards…
we are refreshed
and renewed.
We are given new life.
We are nourished and vibrant and ready to grow.

Thanks Torrie. It rained so hard last night, and it just got me to thinking how harsh and cruel the storm can be, but how revitalizing and refreshing and life-fulfilling it is afterwards. 🙂
