Jodi I see your Etsy shop has so many of your beautiful watercolors. Can I ask how the shop is going? I toy around with the idea of opening a shop, but worry it’s a very full marketplace. I’d love to get your input. Thanks Eileen

It surprises me how well we do! It is just a very side thing for us that we don’t promote much at all. I think it is worth it for sure. My DIL does the back end work on it. I just send her photos of the stuff to add. There is a small charge for listings. Etsy is a lovely community.

There are many artists out there that purposely “bloom” for the effects that it creates…..I also try for blooms where they seem to work.

BTW, I was seeing “blue” today as in boat show and blue water… and summertime! 💧🌞⚓️ Fun to go and check out the new boats – not that we need one but fun to dream! 😉

I love the way you see red! Isn’t it funny how some colors get associated with certain emotions? “Seeing red” may refer to anger, but I think of red as a happy and warm color. And my favorite color of all is blue, although “feeling blue” is supposed to mean sadness. Your wonderful paintings help us see the true value in colors!
