  1. Wonderful words, Jodi, but so hard to follow at times. Sometimes I find that I must abandon caution and Give, Love, Trust, and Listen without conditions or expectations. It sure leaves me vulnerable and potentially open to being used and/or abused. Oh, there is a time for “buts” and we have to keep our eyes open and protect ourselves as well as we can, but for better or for worse, life inevitably involves some level of risk. I like the words especially that you used to end the post–don’t lose your own voice–and I think that one of the greatest things that we can do for others is to help them find their voices and discover opportunities to use those voices.

  2. Solid advice and truth that if followed really do make for a wonderful life. These words to me are likened to the Golden Rules. I read in one of the comments above that there is a picture of daisies. I don’t see one and feel badly I don’t. I’ve been having a bit of trouble with WP lately. Much Love to you!! 💖💖💖

And…. your photo, is a priceless gem. Good eye, to catch this. ❤ how you've edited it. A "field of late spring daisies" is one of my top 5 fav memories. so, thanks Jodi 🙂

  4. Very wise, Jodi! Reminds me a little of that old saying, “Love many, trust a few, always paddle your own canoe.” Listening and caring for others doesn’t mean that we don’t listen to our own inner voice as well.
