A Hymn of Grateful Praise

For the beauty of the earth... For the Glory of the Skies

For the beauty of the earth… For the Glory of the Skies

A Hymn of Grateful Praise.

For the beauty of the earth…
For the glory of the skies.

For the beauty of each hour…
Of the day and of the night.

For the joy of human love…
A hymn of grateful praise.

Sometimes there are just no better words
than those of classic hymns.

On this Thanksgiving Day,
I am grateful for all of this and more.

Cheers & Hugs,
Jodi

  1. A lovely and fitting choice. Have a wonderful day full of joy and laughter and a year packed full of new things to give thanks for ahead. Peace and content, love and kindness always be in your life 🙏

      • They were published in the 1980s, but they were good. James Herriott (and I’m probably not spelling his last name correctly) wrote about his life as a vet in the Yorkshire part of England in the late 1940s and on. His first book was named: All Creatures Great and Small. I do think you would enjoy his work, so if you have time, look him up!
