So often
it is in the shadows
in the quiet of the shade

away from the light
away from the bright
away from sight

that the greatest peace
the most euphoric joy
can fill your heart.

In the shadows.

  7. I love how you capture a moment in time with your photos and then give them life with your lovely words. I’ve always felt that shadows are perceived unfairly, seen mostly from a negative point of view. I think that is why I loved this line that I read in the book “Mirror, Mirror” by Gregory Maguire : “The eye is always caught by light, but shadows have more to say.” Thank-you!
